Scott Curtis: Minister of Youth and Recreation
Scott and his family come to us from Birmingham Alabama, where he recently graduated from Beeson Divinity School. He and Kristen have been married for 10 years and they have two daughters, Morgan and Cate. Scott has spent the last five years working with College students at Samford University where he and his family lived with 300 freshmen. Scott enjoys playing sports, working with his hands and spending time with his family
Betty Warren – Minister of Music and Church
Administration.
Betty Warren, Minister of Music and Church Administration at Emmaus Baptist Church, comes from Springfield, Missouri with 35 years plus of church ministry behind her. Betty and her family moved here in June of 2007 and began her ministry at Emmaus Baptist Church in September 2007. She has served God’s church in many different areas during the past 30 some years, but mostly in the Music, Children, Christian Education and Administration areas. She received her call to ministry at the ripe old age of 16 and starting serving God’s church shortly after graduating from Logan-Rogersville High School in Rogersville, Missouri. She is a handbell and orff specialist. She is a clinician for handbells, orff, all ages of vocal choirs, bands and ensembles. Betty loves ALL styles of music
and believes that the worship of Almighty God goes far beyond the love of music.
She enjoys her pets and loves to read!
Marilyn Rilee – Accompanist
Lynne Bland has been the Secretary for
Emmaus Baptist Church for one year She
is a native of Poquoson, Virginia where she
and her husband of 22 years
live with their
two teenagers. Lynne graduated from Poquoson
High School
and loves to scrapbook.
